Three-deck screen more efficient than larger model, company says

The MS612 6-ft. x 12-ft. three-deck screening plant from Elrus Aggregate Systems is lighter and smaller than a traditional 6-ft. x 20-ft. plant, the company says. According to Elrus, the MS612 features a robust construction and a screen design that offers an advantage over 6-ft. x 20-ft. machines. Electric vibrating motors and multi-slope decks combine to produce an efficient screen that results in rapid fines removal and more accurate sizing and stratification, the company adds. Maintenance is simplified because the decks are all end tensioned. Also, there is no shaft, housing, bearings, seals or sheaves to replace or warehouse. End-tension decks allow for fast screen changes, Elrus says, and the twin drive motors require virtually no maintenance and have no shaft, bearings or sheaves to break down or keep warehoused.
