Those who visited Bandit’s booth at ConExpo-Con/Agg saw Beast XP-Series horizontal grinders, along with the latest land-clearing equipment from Bandit and a new land-clearing stump grinder attachment called the Stump Gun. Bandit’s line of hand-fed wood chippers were also on display, showcasing new technologies for producing high-quality wood chips suitable for biomass fuel wood markets.
Bandit’s XP-Series Beast recyclers feature more than 35 enhancements, the company says. New tooth styles, redesigned augers, enhanced mill housings and new engine options are a few of the new features.
Bandit’s Stump Gun, meanwhile, is the latest compact attachment for land clearing professionals from the company. The device attaches to skid-steer loaders and is powered by a skid-steer’s hydraulic system. The Stump Gun grinds stumps vertically as opposed to horizontally, quickly and efficiently, removing stumps by grinding side-to-side.
According to Bandit, the Stump Gun was scheduled to enter production this spring. In addition, a new chipping drum option replaces the traditional Beast cuttermill. Bandit says the drum allows Beast users to produce screened dimensional wood chips from a traditional whole tree chipping drum.
