USCC demo event a big draw

The U.S. Composting Council’s (USCC) Composting and Mulching Equipment Show & Demonstrations traditionally cap the organization’s annual conference and trade show. This year was no different, as more than 15 companies showcased equipment at the JB Coxwell C&D Landfill and Recycling Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Among the companies demonstrating equipment were Bandit Industries Inc., Diamond Z, Ecoverse, Edge Innovate, Komptech USA, LoadScan, McCloskey International, Midwest Bio Systems, Morbark Inc., Neustarr Equipment LLC, Peterson Pacific Corp., Revolver Screening Systems, Rotochopper Inc., Scarab International, Tana North America, Terex Environmental Equipment and Vermeer Corp.

The hundreds of composters who attended saw portable grinding and screening plants in action, along with windrow turners and support equipment such as load volume scanners. Like PP&E on Facebook to check out a slideshow of photos from the demo.

Next year’s USCC Conference and Tradeshow shifts back to the West Coast, where Los Angeles will host the 25th annual event.
