Variety of enhancements are available on new Komatsu loader

A 353-net-hp engine powers the WA500-7 wheel loader from Komatsu America Corp. The loader is Tier 4 Interim and EU Stage 3B emission certified. The WA500-7 has an operating weight of 76,611 lbs. when equipped with a 7.3-cu.-yd. general-purpose bucket and a maximum speed of 22.1 mph. Enhanced operating performance, lower fuel consumption, improved operator comfort and easier serviceability are other features of the WA500-7 that provide increased productivity and lower operating costs, according to Komatsu. The loader is equipped with wireless technology that sends machine-operating information to a secure website. Data such as daily fuel consumption, machine utilization, operating hours, location, cautions and maintenance alerts are relayed to the web application for analysis.
