The 2019 Construction & Demolition (C&D) World Annual Convention featured more than 260 attendees at the four-day conference in Brooklyn, New York.
The conference, hosted by the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) was highlighted by exhibitors, roundtable discussions, group speakers, networking opportunities and award ceremonies, including the CDRA Hall of Fame ceremony.
Top performers
Inductees this year to the CDRA Hall of Fame included Jay Giltz of Eagle Crusher Co. and Michael Gross of Zanker Recycling. The Hall of Fame honors are reserved for individuals whose careers have best served the industry and CDRA, the association says.
The CDRA Recycler of the Year award was given to Richard Ludt of Construction and Demolition Recycling, with the award presented by CDRA President Troy Lautenbach. The Recycler of the Year recognizes the individual or company that exemplifies excellence in the C&D industry.
In addition, Terri Ward of Sparta Manufacturing was named the CDRA Member of the Year. The CDRA Member of the Year is presented to the board member or committee member who has most served the association in the previous year.

The 2019 CDRA Best Practices in Safety Awards were divided into three award categories: participants, silver and gold.
