Talbert Manufacturing released its 35FG-BVTL fixed neck, drop-deck trailer for small- to mid-size equipment movers.

Part of Talbert’s Double Drop series, the 35FG-BVTL is a 35-ton trailer featuring hydraulic ramps for safe, efficient loading and unloading. The trailer is 48-ft. long, with a 22-ft. x 8 1/2-ft. deck as well as an 8 1/2-ft. rear bridge section.

According to the company, the 35-FG-BVTL’s fixed neck provides an economic alternative to removable gooseneck designs. The trailer is designed with a 7-ft. swing radius and a 1 1/2-ft. kingpin setting, allowing for increased versatility and maneuverability. The gooseneck features two-speed landing gear with standard sand shoes, Talbert says.

In addition, the 35FG-BVLT features a 3-ft. sloping beavertail with a 14.98-degree load angle, coupled with full-width plate with traction bars outside the main beams.

“Our customers require a great deal of versatility. Each day or week could consist of moving a variety of equipment,” says Troy Geisler, vice president of sales and marketing at Talbert. “This is why we take the time to listen and design our trailers to provide the most flexibility, tailoring each unit to the specific needs of the customer with options like fixed neck, tag-a-long, hydraulic tail and traveling axle trailers.”
