Mobile impactor debuts
Anaconda Equipment debuted the I14R mobile impact crusher – its largest impact crusher to date.
According to Anaconda, the I14R is engineered for high-capacity aggregate production, C&D recycling, asphalt processing and concrete recycling. The I14R features a McLanahan Universal 47-in. x 51-in. impact chamber and a 14-ft. x 6-ft. double-deck recirculating screen, which offers exceptional throughput and precise material sizing, the company says.
These features make the I14R suitable for large-scale producers and contract crushing operations. Weighing under 125,000 pounds, Anaconda says the machine can be transported on a standard semi-trailer without special permitting.

HSI built for throughput
The CRH 5064 Cedarapids portable HSI impactor plant is the newest addition to the company’s wheeled plant portfolio. The company says the plant is engineered to deliver productivity, versatility and ease of transport to serve demanding crushing operations.
Additionally, the CRH5064 can reduce maintenance, improve safety and deliver consistent performance across applications, Cedarapids adds. At the core of the CRH5064 is the 400-hp TI5064 horizontal shaft impactor. The TI5064 features a high-inertia four-bar rotor, monoblock primary curtain with replaceable tips, hydraulic tramp iron relief and hydraulic-assisted apron adjustments. Cedarapids says these features maximize output while protecting the machine and operators.
Prototype testing achieved 600 to 700 tph through the plant when processing 30-in. minus shot rock limestone. With a maximum feed size of up to 30 in., the TI5064 can serve large-scale aggregate production, recycling and demolition applications.

High-production crushing power for demanding sites
The TalonTrax is designed for ultra-mobile crushing without sacrificing power or production on jobsites, according to Eagle Crusher. The new TalonMax (TM-15) impactor is at the heart of the TalonTrax, featuring an open-rotor design that reduces weight while maintaining the crushing capabilities Eagle Crusher equipment is known for. The impactor features a new, thicker blowbar design to increase overall wear life.
The TalonTrax plant is a dual-power plant that can be powered by the onboard diesel engine or switched to external power from a genset or line power. The plant also features a dual motor, undercrusher pan feeder with discharge clearance exceeding 23 in. to enable greater material flow and help eliminate clogging. A removable discharge conveyor, meanwhile, allows for quick access to the undercrusher area – as well as to the discharge conveyor itself.
The TalonTrax features a cross-belt, permanent magnet that removes steel contaminants from crushed material. The magnet is reversible to allow steel discharge from either side, and it stays on for transport. Additionally, the TalonTrax features a heavy-duty hopper built for feeding with a loader or excavator, as well as a grizzly bypass chute and cross conveyor with flop gate that allows for either diverting material passing through the grizzly deck for stockpiling or blending it back with the crushed material.
