Werk-brau appoints pair of sales managers

R.W. Whitaker will oversee the company’s Southeast region while Jake McGranahan leads sales in the Midwest.

Whitaker will handle the Southeast for Werk-Brau while McGranahan oversees the Midwest.

According to the company, Whitaker has more than 20 years of experience selling attachments in the construction equipment industry. He most recently was U.S. sales manager at TMC Cancela, a Spanish manufacturer of forestry mulching equipment. He also has regional sales experience at BR Attachments, Paladin Equipment and Rockland Manufacturing.

“We’re excited to welcome R.W. to the Werk-Brau family,” says Dale DeWeese, national sales manager at Werk-Brau. “His extensive experience with attachments and their many applications, coupled with a positive, customer-centric attitude, will serve our customers and channel partners well in this growing territory.”

McGranahan, meanwhile, has more than 20 years of sales and operational leadership experience with companies such as Team JDC, XCMG USA and Rudd Equipment. In addition to sales, McGranahan has experience in general management and service leadership,

McGranahan is responsible for supporting distributors and customers in the Great Lakes region – including Ohio and Michigan – across the full lineup of Werk-Brau buckets, thumbs, couplers, tiltrotators, mulchers, landscape rakes and other specialized attachments and accessories for excavators and loaders.

“We’re thrilled to add Jake to the Werk-Brau family,” DeWeese says. “His varied experience in all facets of the industry gives him a unique perspective and insight into customers’ experiences and challenges. His customer-first approach aligns naturally with the values we live by at Werk-Brau. His reputation for developing lasting relationships will be an asset to customers, as well as distributors and other channel partners in Ohio and Michigan.”
