In her new role, Superior says DeBow will guide product development, market strategy, training initiatives and sales support for the company’s wet processing equipment portfolio.

DeBow has 12 years of aggregate processing experience, with roles in equipment applications, technical sales and product management. She joined Superior in 2023 as an applications specialist, working with aggregate producers and Superior’s dealer partners to develop custom equipment solutions for washing applications.

“Lauren has spent her career studying metallurgy and applications, solving complex processing challenges and getting her boots dirty in the field,” says Matt Voigt, director of products at Superior. “She has a knack for seeing where wet processing is headed, understanding the challenges producers are running into and digging into the details until she finds a better way to solve them.”

DeBow graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in metallurgical and materials engineering and began her career in mineral processing before moving into aggregate equipment. Prior to joining Superior, she held applications and product management roles with Weir and later worked in technical sales for Astec Industries. Superior says these experiences have given DeBow a frontline view of evolving washing requirements throughout the industry.

“Washing is becoming more important in places where producers historically didn’t need it,” DeBow says. “As deposits become more challenging and water becomes more constrained, there are opportunities to rethink how material is processed and how efficiently we use the resources available to us.

Superior says DeBow will work with the company’s engineering, applications, sales, marketing and manufacturing teams to advance Superior’s washing equipment portfolio and support dealers and producers throughout North America.
