EvoQuip, Powerscreen equipment propel contractor’s growth

For the last three years, EvoQuip and Powerscreen equipment have been at the center of Outlaw Excavating’s growth as a contract excavator.
Cody White, founder of Outlaw Excavating, first incorporated EvoQuip into his arsenal in 2020. At the time, White had a job that required more than 5,000 yd. of screened dirt and gravel.
Needing the right equipment for the job, White turned to Powerscreen Western, a Terex distributor representing EvoQuip and Powerscreen equipment across Arizona and part of Nevada.
Gerald McCarthy of Powerscreen Western recommended to White the compact EvoQuip Colt 600 screening plant. The plant has applications in aggregates, sand and gravel, topsoil, construction demolition and recycling, according to EvoQuip.
Additionally, the company says the Colt 600 is ideal for sites where space is at a premium, as it is small enough to fit inside a container for transport. The Colt 600 is the smallest scalping screen in EvoQuip’s lineup, featuring an output of 308 tph.
“It still impresses me today what that little screener can do,” White says. “It can even go on a tagged trailer.”
Eventually, White realized he needed to recycle concrete, rock and asphalt from his jobsites. Enter the Powerscreen 320 Trakpactor, once again recommended by McCarthy.
With the addition of a portable crusher, White began to make spec materials that could be use on his own jobsites. The materials could also be marketed to other contractors in the construction industry.
“It was a game changer for us to be able to use our own materials,” White says. “Gerald provided a Powerscreen 320 Trakpactor for the rental and brought with him a lot of training and support for a customer who was new to the crushing industry.”
