Finlay introduced the electric-powered 883+ heavy-duty scalping screen as an addition to its flagship 883+ model. Designed for a range of primary and secondary screening applications, this machine is suitable for quarrying, mining, iron ore processing, construction and demolition waste, sand, gravel, compost, topsoil and coal. The 883+ Electric scalper was developed to meet the growing demand for efficient, environmentally friendly equipment, according to Finlay. It can be connected directly to the grid or powered by a genset. The electrical drive system powers the feeder, screenbox and conveyors, making it an option for customers seeking to reduce their carbon footprint while maintaining high productivity.

Superior Industries released a new version of Vantage automation for its cone crushers. Version 7.2 of Superior’s Vantage program is designed to improve the user experience and enhance data gathering for diagnostics. Superior says the new version is a significant upgrade for its Patriot and Dakota cone crushers. For example, Superior says redesigned screens now provide clear navigation and feature improved graphics for ease of use. Additionally, the company says individual solenoid testing and improved data recording enhance troubleshooting accuracy and visibility, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The new version of Vantage can be retrofitted on existing cone crushers manufactured by Superior, the company adds, making upgrades accessible for current users.

Sandvik Mobile Crushing & Screening introduced the QH443E as an electric-driven cone plant. The company says the QH443E bridges the gap between tracked mobile, wheeled portable and stationary plants by combining electric drives and track mobility on a single platform. The new cone plant features an updated tracked platform with a diesel/electric generator-based drivetrain, the Optik automation system, My Fleet remote monitoring and a Sandvik CH440 hydrocone crusher. The plant is suitable for use as a secondary or tertiary crusher in aggregate production, quarries and mines. The QH443E features an onboard genset and electrically driven components. This setup allows both units to operate either by connecting to an external electricity supply or via the onboard genset using HVO or diesel.
