Cemco Inc. plans to showcase its Turbo 80 vertical shaft impact (VSI) crusher models at its booth (C31811) during ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 in Las Vegas.
Cemco’s Turbo 80 VSI crusher comes in two models and serves as either a portable or stationary VSI crusher that processes a variety of aggregate materials and industrial minerals. The Turbo 80 is ideal for multiple industries, including aggregate, energy production, mining and recycling.
The standard Turbo 80 features a single-drive motor, weighs 19,000 pounds and produces throughputs up to 275 tph. The dual-drive Turbo 80 weighs about 25,000 pounds and offers production capabilities up to 350 tph.
Cemco also offers a mid-sized option that can process materials up to 4 in. wide into a uniform, cubical product. By producing consistent, ideally shaped product, the Turbo 80 ensures high production levels and less waste, Cemco says.
Turbo 80 crushers allow material to enter through the adjustable feed tube at the top, where it then drops onto an impeller table or closed rotor. Centrifugal force directs the material from the impeller and casts material at speeds of more than 300 ft. per second against a stationary, abrasive-resistant anvil to produce cubical material.
In addition, the Turbo 80 is offered as a truck-mounted portable unit. The track-mounted Turbo 80 eliminates the need to transfer material to the crusher, according to the company. The standard Turbo 80 also comes with options such as internal wet kits for sticky material, dust control systems and automation software.
