Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft plans to present two main attractions at its ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 booth: its six-axle ADDRIVE with three self-propelled axle lines and an STZ-P 9 (3+3+3) AA low-loader semitrailer.

ADDRIVE offers versatility and a range of applications, Goldhofer says. The switchable drive optimizes working with heavy-duty modules, whether they are operated as towed or as self-propelled modular transporters. The system also enables efficient vehicle mobilization and quick reduction of overall weight.

ADDRIVE also features a “free wheeling” mode, so that as soon as a certain speed is attained, the system disconnects automatically from the drive and functions as a normal heavy-duty module. With the drive axle uncoupled from the motor, there is no more oil flow so there can be no overheating of the drive in order to reduce maintenance, the company says.

In addition, the STZ-P 9 (3+3+3) AA comes with swing-axle technology, maximum frame strength and extendible decks. It also comes in a variety of vehicle widths and various wheelbases. The STZ-P 9 (3+3+3) AA is extendible between the bogies to comply with U.S. regulations regarding axle space. Additionally, the rear bogie can be retracted under load for greater flexibility when negotiating tight bends and roundabouts.

These two products will be displayed at Goldhofer’s booth (Gold Lot G4416) at ConExpo-Con/Agg, March 7-11, in Las Vegas.
