Sandvik to showcase next-generation equipment
Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology plans to showcase a number of innovative solutions at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017, including a mobile jaw crusher, a wheeled impact crusher and a mobile scalper.
The mobile jaw crusher Sandvik will showcase is the Sandvik QJ341+, which is a new addition to the Sandvik QJ341 jaw crusher range. This model comes with the added benefit of a double-deck pre-screen as standard. The pre-screen enables the removal of fines to increase throughput, resulting in greater efficiency, less wear on the crusher and, ultimately, higher productivity, the company says. According to Sandvik, this will be particularly effective in quarrying applications with a high proportion of fines in the feed material.
Sandvik will also display the Sandvik UI310+ wheeled impact crusher, an electrically driven wheeled crushing unit that offers a versatile and highly efficient primary crushing solution. With the highly modularized Sandvik CI512 Prisec crusher, this unit offers the flexibility to configure one base crusher into either a primary or a secondary configuration. Purpose-designed for the aggregate industry and targeted at the U.S. market in particular, the Sandvik UI310+ features a pre-screen to maximize efficiency. The wheeled impact crusher is built with a number of features for ease of operation and low operating costs, the company says.
In addition, the Sandvik QE441 Free Flow mobile scalper will be showcased at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017. The Sandvik QE441 Free Flow is a new variant of the company’s heavy-duty QE441 scalper with a two-deck 18-ft. x 6-ft. Free Flow screen. According to Sandvik, this features a rigid scalping top deck and a dual-motion lower screen deck to process high specification and/or difficult-to-screen materials. The Sandvik QE441 Free Flow mobile scalper is an ideal solution for screening materials such as soils, aggregate, ores, waste, biomass and other waste-derived fuels and products with high moisture contents, the company adds.
In addition to these portable-processing plants, Sandvik also plans to introduce the Sandvik CS550 cone crusher, which is designed to optimize the secondary step in the crushing process.
“We’re driving innovation throughout our entire portfolio, from new equipment to ever smarter customer services,” says Jeff Heinemann, vice president of sales area USA at Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology. “We are focusing on the numbers that matter by conveying customer value and lower total cost of ownership of the total Sandvik package.”
Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology will be located at Silver Lot S5128 at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017, which takes place March 7-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
