Terex plans to launch Terex Ecotec, a new brand for its environmental equipment, at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 in Las Vegas.

In addition to Continental Biomass Industries (CBI), Terex will now offer a second brand for its environmental equipment in Terex Ecotec. The product line will include slow- and medium-speed shredders, biomass chippers, horizontal grinders, trommel screens, recycling screens, waste handlers and windrow turners.

“As recently as two years ago, the Terex environmental portfolio consisted simply of biomass equipment sold predominantly in North America,” says Tony Devlin, director of Terex Environmental Equipment. “Through the strategic line acquisitions of Continental Biomass Industries and Neuson Ecotec Environmental Technology, internal product development, and customer interaction, Terex now offers a broad range of environmental equipment marketed globally under two strong brands for our processing customers.”

Terex Ecotec will be headquartered in Dungannon, Northern Ireland, with another office located in Newton, New Hampshire. The company plans to meet with existing and potential customers at ConExpo-Con/Agg to discuss its latest environmental processing offerings.
