ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 has a lot to live up to.

Three years ago, the largest construction equipment trade show in North America set a record with 139,000 attendees from 133 countries. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which manages the show, has incorporated several new features to this year’s event, offering attendees even more to explore.

Among the additions to ConExpo-Con/Agg 2026 are the Ground Breakers Stage, an opportunity for keynote speakers to address ConExpo-Con/Agg attendees throughout the event, and a small business workshop, scheduled for March 6 and designed for entrepreneurs, family-owned companies and firms with up to 50 employees to focus on practical strategies for growth, networking and leadership development.

AEM says ConExpo-Con/Agg is expected to draw 2,000 exhibitors across its nearly 3 million sq. ft. of exhibit space inside and outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“ConExpo-Con/Agg brings the industry together to see the innovations, connect with the leaders and meet the makers who are redefining how the world is built,” says Dana Wuesthoff, ConExpo-Con/Agg show director. “This is where you see how technology, equipment and people are transforming infrastructure, workforce development and community impact. It is not just about observing the future. It is about standing in the middle of it and connecting with the industry leaders who are building it.”

ConExpo’s Next Level Awards program, which premiered during 2023’s show, will also receive a facelift this year. The awards will now be split into two categories: equipment and technology. The equipment category will focus on products, components, attachments and more, while the technology category will highlight software, apps, AI and other tech innovations.

“This expansion of the Next Level Awards exemplifies the commitment of ConExpo-Con/Agg to advance the construction industry by elevating and celebrating its groundbreaking innovations that have an enormous impact on how we build our world,” Wuesthoff says. “By highlighting the most inventive products, services and technologies, we not only honor the pioneers driving progress, but also inspire the entire industry to reach new heights.”

Exhibitor excitement

Companies are chomping at the bit to showcase their latest offerings at ConExpo. The last three years have seen a number of developments in equipment and technology that manufacturers are capitalizing on.

“I think the 2026 edition of ConExpo is going to be the best one ever with a lot of new exhibitors, new technologies and new experiences,” says Daniel Friedman, vice president of marketing at Eagle Crusher. “What 2023 had was amazing, but the pace of development and new technologies that are coming to market across the spectrum means there are going to be so many cool things to see in Vegas.”

As is often the case, ConExpo 2026 will once again serve as the debut for many pieces of equipment. One company launching new products at the show is Wirtgen Group.

“We’re going to have some international debuts, which is really exciting,” says Matt Graves, director of marketing communications at Wirtgen Group. “There are [also] some things we’re going to introduce to the North American market.”
