Lake Erie Portable Screeners plans to showcase its Pitbull 2300 and Pitbull 2300B portable screeners at its booth (S5193) during ConExpo-Con/Agg 2017 from March 7-11 in Las Vegas.
The company developed its Pitbull 2300B as a smaller alternative to the Pitbull 2300. It features a small frame that offers a simple, light design. It delivers high outputs of various materials, including topsoil, mulch, gravel, stone and asphalt. The machine is ideal for rental centers and small- to mid-sized contractors in landscaping, construction and excavation, the company says.
“We want to make sure our product is attainable to everyone who could benefit from it,” says Stuart Foradora, a factory representative at Lake Erie Portable Screeners. “That’s why we created an entry-level machine for smaller contractors and rental centers. The 2300B has the same screening rate and durability as the 2300 but in a smaller, more economical package.”
The Pitbull 2300B features a 21.5 hp Honda two-cylinder air-cooled gas engine. Similar to the Pitbull 2300 model, it also includes full hydraulic operation, tubular frame construction and a reversible shaker.
The portable screening plant comes with an anti-spill loading apron that accepts up to 3 cu. yd. of material at a time, depending on the feeding rate. With its low dump height of just over 8 ft., operators do not need loading ramps as they can fill the hopper using typical construction equipment such as backhoes or excavators. In addition, the Pitbull 2300B does not come with a conveyor so material deposits onto a large open space below the screener.
